Boats in Spawn

For this whole map, boats have been allowed. They were fun. You could go around spawn in one, fly around the ice rink, etc etc.. A couple of people have been using these boats for bad, like clipping on top of the plane and drug running, but why can't those people just be banned? Why do boats have to be completely removed?? I found a couple glitches with them and I barely told anyone about them. In my opinion if someone is abusing boats they should be banned. Not the boats.

Bring them back?

Hello AnalBeads, We got rid of boats for a couple reasons. First of all People always spam them in spawn and flood the walkways in spawn and staff members have to go over to the spot and get rid of the boats. Second of all many people have been using boats for glitches, and When you found that one glitch you couldve just msged a staff member instead of announcing it to the whole server in public chat, and a few days people were doing the same glitch you did and are in the same faction so obviously you told them about it. Also its easier if we just removed boats from spawn all together so we dont have to deal with any problems involving boats anymore. - Chris

I messaged multiple staff members about it. I announced it in chat once, because I was really surprised that I found something interesting. I have never seen anyone spam boats in front of spawn... only I have done that once or twice. You are reallllly exaggerating this. Not many people used these so called "glitches", and if they were really abusing it, they should have been banned. I have personally never seen anyone abusing a boat.

Why does it matter if my faction members were using the "glitch" if they weren't using it for bad? I honestly don't see anything wrong with using it if it's not abusing anything.

Hi,
I understand the reasons that boats were removed from spawn but what's the point in having the ice rink that Dakota got Prim to build if we can't use it? What's the point in having the illegal gun NPC really far away from spawn on the oil mining thing if we have to swim to it? Why can't you just block boats in the places they are cause glitches and then add them back in the places they are needed to have fun.

Over the past couple weeks, multiple exploits with boats have been brought to our attention. There is the ice rink under spawn, and that may be made a region where boats are allowed. For the rest of your arguments, the exploits outweigh the benefits of allowing boats to be placed.
